BLUE ANCHOR INN

It's a family run lodge situated on the main road about 50km north of Maputo, catering for all travellers who are looking for a secure, comfortable, and affordable stop-over on their way up to Inhambane and beyond. Ideally located on the EN1 freeway, perfectly placed as an overnight stop for families and individuals en-route to northern and mid-Mozambique.

The 'Blue Anchor Inn' has a fully licensed bar as well as a restaurant that prides itself with good quality food, specializing in fresh Mozambican fare like flat chicken, prawns, prawn curry, steak, and line fish. Our motto is "Old Fashioned Hospitality", which we pride ourselves on constantly delivering. 

Accommodation is simple yet clean and comfortable. there is a number of en-suite garden chalets and also have "Inn" style accommodation in the main building with all rooms having their own dedicated bathrooms. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with Mosquito nets and fans, and all bathrooms have constant hot water.

The Blue Anchor Inn provides a number of conveniently sized home-from-home chalets to suit your particular needs and wants.

There are a variety of garden chalets providing a selection of 2x double beds per chalet, 1x double bed per chalet, and a set of double and single beds. All our garden chalets have en-suite bathrooms with hot water.

The main building has a collection of 'Inn' style rooms each with its own dedicated bathroom. All the rooms are tastefully decorated, each provided with Mosquito nets and electric fans.
