This Stunning resort is located on the southern section of the Barra Peninsula in the palm fringed Inhambane Bay, 25 km from Inhambane city - 485km north of Maputo
Mozambique has a tropical climate, warm to hot and sunny almost all year round. The cooler winter months of June, July and August are very pleasant and generally only in the evenings would you require a light jacket. The Barra Peninsula is a low rainfall area with an average 800ml of rain falling annually. Rains are tropical so tend to be short sharp downpours.
Sea temperatures vary between 20 and 29 degrees allowing for comfortable swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving all year round.

HEALTH:
All of Mozambique is a malaria area and it is advisable to check with your pharmacy or doctor as to the current recommended prophylaxis to take.
There is a hospital in the town of Inhambane, however you are advised to take out medical insurance and ensure it covers medical air evacuation in case of an emergency which could not be dealt with locally.
