If you’re the adventurous type, Planet Scuba is affiliated to excellent scuba diving, ocean safari, deep sea fishing, dolphin watching and kite boarding operations in Ponta do Ouro, and our friendly management team will ensure that your every desire is catered for – be it witnessing the teeming array of fish life on our unspoiled coral reefs, catching a glimpse of whales and dolphins, feeling the pull of big game fish on the end of your line, or challenging your wave-riding skills on the spectacular right-hand point break in the bay. And if you’re a 4x4enthusiast, Planet Scuba is the ideal place to prepare for your off-road adventure on the soft sand roads amidst the dense dune forests of the area.
Of course if you’re slightly less energetic, Planet Scuba is the perfect base from which you can soak up the sun on the deck or on our stunning white beaches, swim in the warm ocean waters, explore the charming market stalls offering hand-made curious and gifts, and even witness the timeless spectacle of a turtle laying her eggs or the hatchlings emerging from the pristine beach sand.

The wooden deck surrounding one of Ponta de ouro biggest private pools is the perfect place for secluded sun-bathing, and the view from the covered dining deck is breathtaking – with the sunrise over the Point being exceptionally magnificent.
The comfortable lounge offers DSTV if you need to catch an important match or keep up with your favourite soapie. Internet is available on request to keep you in touch with the wider world, and the lodge has full cellphone coverage.
Planet Scuba offers a full suite of self-catering facilities, including fridges, freezers, gas cookers, braai areas, crockery and cutlery and of course a large beer and cool-drink fridge on the deck. Catered packages are also available on request
SERVICES
The friendly staff and management at Planet Scuba offer a wide range of services to ensure your stay is perfectly comfortable at all times.
Rooms are serviced daily and linen is replaced regularly. Hand-soap and toilet paper are provided, but please bring your own towels.
Your management team will be only too happy to give advice on things to do in Ponta and surrounding areas, and will be delighted to arrange your chosen activities for you.
Whilst Ponta do Ouro is an exceptionally safe village, a night-time guard is on duty to ensure your complete peace-of-mind.
