ACCOMMODATION

RUSTIC LOG HUTS-2 SLEEPER

The Resort has 19 Rustic Log Huts which are ideal for scuba divers. Situated at the Dive Camp, just a few meters from the beach & Nascer do Sol Bar. Each log hut has 2 twin beds with bedding & linen. Adjacent ablutions have hot water showers & power outlets for hairdryers & shavers. There are no plug points inside the log huts. No cooking; candles; mosquito burners are permitted inside or on decks of log huts. Plug points are available in the Dive Camp for laptops/cell phone/camera

charges. Persons staying in these Log Huts have use of the Dive Camp self catering kitchen where fridge/freezer space will be allocated on arrival.

The kitchen is equipped with gas cookers, pots & pans & basic cooking utensils.   

THERE IS NO CROCKERY/ CUTLERY-PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN

DIVE CAMP TENTS

 2 SLEEPERThe resort offers 25 two-man dome tents close to the Dive Camp; boat launching area & Nascer do Sol Bar. Each tent has two twin mattresses & mosquito screened windows and doors.There are 14 Deck Tents built up on wooden decks with shade covers and 11 Ground Tents in the shaded camp area closer to the beach. No cooking; candles; mosquito burners are permitted inside tents or on wooden decks. The adjacent ablutions all have hot water showers. There are no plug points at the tents. Plug points are available in the Dive Camp for laptops/cell phone/camera charges. Persons staying in these tents have use of the Dive Camp self catering kitchen where fridge/freezer space will be allocated on arrival. The kitchen is equipped with gas cookers, pots & pans & basic cooking utensils.

THERE IS NO CROCKERY & CUTLERY

 CAMPSITES – C01 – C53  -   Parque de Malongane boasts 53 beautifully shaded camp sites which are spread along the 1km area of the Resort. Campsites C01 – C33 are in the Northern section of Resort and C34 – C53 in the Southern section are closer to the Dive Camp and boat launching area. There are 6 /8/12 person camp sites all individually numbered and demarcated by poles. Each site has a 3 point 5 amp plug point. All sites are within easy walking distance to beach & one of our 5 public ablution blocks. (Refer to Resort map for site location) Our campsites do not have braais/grids or table & benches. No camping or fires are permitted outside of the pole site demarcated areas, the grassed garden areas or on the roads. No poles are to be removed. The 5 amp plug points cannot support any appliances with elements or overloading with multiple plugs – the power will trip.

 RONDAVELS  J : K : L : M 4 SLEEPER   -   There are 4 x 4 sleeper chalets with open plan kitchen/living area just a few meters from the beach. Rondaval J & K have separate bedrooms with double bed. The fully equipped kitchen includes crockery; cutlery; fridge/freezer & gas cooker. Private bathroom with hot water shower; ceiling fans & daily maid service. Portable braai. Private beach entrance. Close to restaurant with short walk to Dive Camp.

CHALETS A1:A2 - LOGGERHEAD TENT- 8 SLEEPER

Loggerhead Tented Camp was initially established as accommodations for turtle research workers observing behavior of loggerhead & leatherback turtles.

Nestled in the heart of the Mozambique tropical coastal forest, Loggerhead Tented Camp is situated in the quiet, Northern part of our Resort a few meters from the beach. There are 2 upstairs tented bedrooms, one with shower en suite; 2 log huts downstairs 1 x 2 bed & 1 x 3 beds with shared bathroom/shower. The fully equipped kitchen includes crockery; cutlery; fridge; freezer & gas stove. Hot water showers; fans & daily maid service.

 Bedding, linen and towels are NOT provided.

ACTIVITIES: Fishing, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Dolphin Tours ( Ponta De Ouro + -15 minutes away)                

 6 SLEEPER

                                                 There are 2 x 6 sleeper chalets each with open plan kitchen/living/sleeping areas & one separate bedroom.The fully equipped kitchen includes crockery; cutlery; fridge/ freezer & gas cooker. Private bathroom with hot water shower; ceiling fans & daily maid service. Outside braai. Close to beach & restaurant with parking for boats & trailers  .
