Our presidential suite is our coconut creme da la creme, often used for dignitaries, honeymooners and other special guests. This room is a (square meterage) room with a comfortable reading/ lounge area and is separated from the rest of our boutique hotel. This suite boasts its own outdoor shower encouraging you to become you with the serene location and garden, just moments away from our inviting swimming pool with sun-kissed loungers.

Barra Beach Club is also a great place to escape for a corporate team building event, with so many activities on offer. We  can host smaller conferences of up to 10 delegates or for the larger   and more extensive company events, we often combine facilities with our sister hotel, Casa Do Capitao.

Barra Beach Club is also a honeymooner’s paradise as it is exclusive and   romantic. It allows the bride and groom to experience their dream beach wedding and their photographer to capture all the beauty of the ideal surrounds. Being in close proximity to our sister hotel, in Inhambane,  means larger weddings or conferences can be handled by our lodge.

Escape and read your favourite book while lounging in a hammock or for the more energetic, experience scuba diving with manta rays and turtles or snorkelling amongst the exotic reefs. If Whale, shark sitings get your adrenaline pumping, then welcome to their home.

There is so much to experience, from kitesurfing, canoeing, fishing aboard our fully equipped 25ft launch to traditional Dhow rides, romantic sunset cruises or surfing at world renowned hot spots. A full programme of watersports, courses, transfers and interesting local tours can be arranged. There’s plenty for kids to do too –they can enjoybuilding sand castles on the beach, paddling in the calm sea, beach volleyball and beach bonfires.
