Azura Benguerra is the first eco-friendly resort in Mozambique. The local community hand-built the resort and operates it in partnership with Azura. The island enjoys warm, sunny weather year-round, with temperatures ranging from the upper 20s to low 30s Celsius. The water remains comfortably warm, ranging from 24 to 30 degrees.
Benguerra Island receives less rainfall than the mainland, often having several months with no rain. While this makes the landscape arid, it also ensures beautiful, dry weather for guests to enjoy.
